From the Public Health Observatory Cantabria (OSPC) we want to convey a message of regret and affection family, friends and colleagues I Concha Colomer, who died recently. Concha hold the offices of Director of the Centre for Women's Health and Deputy Director of the Office of Health Planning and Quality System Quality Agency, National Health, Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality of the English Government, but Concha was much more to many people in the world . Shell will be remembered as a pioneer in the movement for the development of a gender perspective in the field of health research and practice, for his tireless work for his vision, not to miss an opportunity to influence policies aimed at equity in health. And that is why we supported the initiative OSPC on American Forum of Health Observatory focused on gender equity in health and the elimination of inequalities, which we celebrated in Santander in November 2008 and involving 18 observatories in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, including the Centre for Women's Health which she directed. And just as we supported the participation of partners of OSM in our Advisory Committee when we were forming. His vision and inspiration has been the driving force of many initiatives and this leaves a big vacuum. We send our support especially her co-workers in his continuation of the work they have been doing with Shell from a commitment and unwavering loyalty. Mood partners, we are sure that the power is with you Shell, joins us to all of you.
Hugs solidarity
OSPC 's team (Los Angeles, Dolores and Oscar)
